So I went back to school and I’m now taking five classes and working full time. I was a pretty hectic first three weeks but I’m starting to get into the grove of things and hopefully it works out.

Going to make something new everyday being art electronics music or anything else that I can think of. I do know of thing-a-day.com but I doubt any of my stuff will get on there.

As you can see I’m working on getting this blog back up and running along with getting a website working as well hopefully I’ll have both up and running in a week but for now an update.

Cr-48 is working pretty well it has a few kinks in it since it is just a web browser let alone the first of it’s kind the Apps in it are pretty neat.

The website is still beaing framed but hopefully I’ll have it up and running fully with CSS and some JavaScript.

I’m on holiday which is why I have so much time right now to commit to this and other project that will be announced throughout the year.

Prompt (excerpt form Insightful Writing pp. 50): What Kinds of music do you listen to? What is it about this music that makes you want to listen to it? Who or what influenced you to listen to the kinds of music that you listen to?

The kind of music I listen to is Japanese Rock, Punk, and stuff from the indie scene.

Japanese Rock scene Visual Kei’s sound is what I truly like from JRock since it has wide variety and can be anything. Visual Kei is also one of the most misunderstood since almost all band in the scene are males dressed up as females. The thing that influenced me into listening to this type of music was fansubbed anime with original opening and closers which have current Japanese Pop and Rock musicians doing the theme songs. Jappanese bands I currently listen to are X Japan, Versailles(Versailles -Philharmonic Quintet- in the US), Dir en Grey, BeForU, Peelander-Z, The Seatbelts, The Pillows, Sonic Coster Pop, Polysics, and some Rip Slyme.

Punk Rock’s political charged lyrics, D.I.Y. Attitude or just awesome sounding voices is what makes me want to listen to it. Nothing influenced me into listening to punk it just happened but I’m glad it did since if it didn’t I wouldn’t of listened to NOFX, BAD RELIGION, Circle Jerks, Dead Kennedeys, and many more bands.

Ah the indie scene is one of my favorite things to listen to since it (well almost)never sounds like anything mainstream. The D.I.Y. attitude of Punk Rock is also here since it very hard to get gigs or instruments since most indie bands are living gig to gig if they don’t have day jobs to help out the band. I’ve been to a show with fiends and like how the sound of the bands there. Indie bands I listen to are dreaming of trains, Hello Asphalt, some Last Ride In, and The Protomen.
